Our Winter Dance Party at the Iron County Memorial Building was a Great Success!

On Saturday February 8th, 2025 at the Iron County Memorial Building, the band was a swingin’ and the crowd was a-dancin’. Kudos to the event volunteers for a masterful decorating job that well and truly established a fun mood that continued throughout the evening. A quick look around the room revealed lots of cool outfits – from satin, Pink Lady jackets to T-Bird t-shirts, and from bobby sox and saddle shoes to brown shoes with pink shoe-laces. Scotti Pecotti’s 50s Diner burger baskets were a big hit, as were the sundaes and shakes, while the hardworking bar team of Tonto, Lindsey and Isaac were greatly appreciated by the thirsty crowd. Everyone loved the music by Robby Vee and his band, and the basket raffles offered a little something for everyone. Thanks to everybody who contributed to the success of the evening – whether by volunteering, or  donating raffle prizes, or simply by coming along and getting in to the spirit of the event. Your contribution to our ongoing fundraising  efforts for our stage rigging and drapes replacement are very warmly appreciated!
