Our Mission

We recently updated our mission statement. Amy Quinn, a non-profit consultant with Grow and Lead: Community and Youth Development (GLCYD), led us through an afternoon workshop of brainstorming, perspective-gathering, and editing. The VISION of the Historic Ironwood Theatre is all generations personally experience the joy of theatre community.

MISSION: To preserve and provide an iconic facility where everyone is invited to discover and enjoy the performing arts.

The mission statement review, including engagement of the GLYCD consultant, was funded by a Professional & Organizational Development (POD) re-grant from the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs. The POD program is administered regionally by the Copper Country Community Arts Center (CCCAC).
