The Hype Blew Ironwood Away!

Big hair, guyliner, and headbands were everywhere – in the audience AND on stage! It was all 80s at the Historic Ironwood Theatre on Saturday 20 January when The Hype presented their Glam-Rock spectacular featuring the music of Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison, Bon Jovi, and Aerosmith. Scotty Cee’s soaring vocals, Johnny Holiday’s crazy guitar licks and riffs, and the amazing rhythm section of Dugan McNeill on bass, and JJ from LA on the biggest drum kit yet seen on the HIT stage delivered a powerhouse performance that had the crown on their feet for most of the concert. There was dancing in the aisles, in the balcony and in the pit as the huge crowd kept calling for more – and the band delivered!
