The Wizards of Winter “WoW” Ironwood!

On Wednesday 13 December , THE WIZARDS OF WINTER (WoW) rocked Ironwood! Featuring former members of rock giants The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Ted Nugent Band, Rainbow, Alice Cooper, and Blue Oyster Cult, the 11-member  ensemble “WoW”ed the near capacity crowd with their performance of  a rock opera entitled “The Christmas Dream.”  Outstanding musicianship included a flute, violin, three exceptional guitar players, keyboard and drums. The blend of male and female voices (of the 11 musicians six sang in chorus or provided solo and duet work) and doubled on an instrument. In the words of one appreciative patron: “Congratulations to the HIT team for bringing in The Wizards of Winter…the lighting, staging, choreography, sound and special effects were exceptional… including the snowflakes floating against the beautiful HIT ceiling…and a narrator who guided us through the Christmas story.
