WÖR – WOW!

We want to say a big thank you to those who ventured out to the theatre on Sunday 3 November. Despite not knowing what was meant by “folk with a Belgian attitude” or “…musicians who inject new energy into 18^th century melodies…” audience members were well and truly rewarded by a different, yet wonderful musical experience. Combining bagpipes, accordion, violin, saxophone and guitar, Belgian band WÖR’s Sunday concert was an exciting blend of musical styles, played by musicians who clearly loved their original take and arrangements of traditional music, and had the chops to deliver it.  As one audience member posted on social media after the show: ” WÖR – WOW!”  If you weren’t at HIT on Sunday night, you missed a great show.
